Serious Injuries Team Operations Manager
Jodie qualified as a Solicitor in April 2015 and before this time had spent many years working within a Serious Injuries Team specialising in orthopaedic, amputation, fatal and spinal cord injuries. Following qualification Jodie specialised in running her own caseload of high value serious injury claims with a particular interest in orthopaedic and fatal injuries; she has worked closely with many families who have lost a loved one following an accident.
Jodie joined Admiral Law in 2016 as a Solicitor within the Serious Injuries Team; offering personal and professional advice to clients who have sustained personal injury following a road traffic accident.
Following her time with the Serious Injuries Team, and building on her experience of running personal injury claims, Jodie has progressed to manage a team of Solicitors and Litigators within the Complex Litigation Team. Jodie’s role involves overseeing claims with complex areas of fact or law, complex injuries (to include permanent orthopaedic and/or psychological injuries, chronic pain, need for pain management treatment and tinnitus), fatal accidents and/or claims which require capacity assessments. In addition to offering her technical guidance and support, Jodie encourages a team approach to maximising client’s settlements so as to achieve the best possible result for our clients whilst at the same time offering exceptional client care.
Jodie is a member of APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers) and the Cardiff Court User Group.
Outside of work, Jodie enjoys running half marathons, travelling and socialising. She also spends much of her time shopping and hunting for bargains!
