Case study

Confidence restored

After a collision on a roundabout, in which a third party crashed into our client, the third party’s insurer refused to accept liability for the accident and offered a 50% settlement.

After speaking to our client at length and analysing the road layout, we had absolute confidence that our client was not at fault and refused to accept the 50% offer. We discussed the alternatives with our client who agreed going to court was the best option.

Before the case got to court, the other insurers settled the claim in full and while it was only for an excess payment it demonstrates the lengths we will go to, regardless of the amount at stake, to get a fair result for our clients.

After the settlement, our client had this to say about their dedicated case handler: "We’d like to say a huge thank you for the hard work you did in winning this case for us.

"It wasn’t just about winning the case; it was about proving our innocence and clearing our name. At least we can start to get confidence back now, and again this has been down to your hard work and belief.

"You are a credit to Admiral Law and we would like to wish you every success in your career from the bottom of our hearts."
